"BND Watches is a young French watchmaking house, created in 2021, by Vincent Bonnaud. The philosophy of its brand can be summed up in these terms: "Back to the Past". Indeed, the brand's creator sees his neo-vintage watches as a time machine. The time mentioned here begins in the 1950s and ends in the 1980s. Why this period? The answer is simple: It was the time of iconic actors, great racing drivers and mythical motorcycle riders, but also legendary explorers. All these men have marked history. They have done it with their watches. The creator of the brand pays homage to them."

Founded in 2021

"The most complex and longest work was the design of the watch. Indeed, I wanted to pay homage to diver-type watches from the 50s to the 80s. So I tried to find the purest line, without frills. This is what justifies the presence only of my logo and the anchor on the dial. I didn't want to invade this one with literature that I considered useless. My logo is the diminutive of my family name and the anchor echoes the marine world. But even for the anchor, I wanted it quite minimalist. I followed the same reasoning for the case back of my watch which is devoid of any inscriptions. I also took up the aesthetic codes of watches from that era, such as pierced lugs or painted indexes. I wanted my watch to be simple, reliable, robust and legible."
